100-year-old breaks record with 84-year tenure at job (Guinness Book of World Records)

Walter Orthmann of Brazil has worked at the same company for a record 84 years and nine days, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. Orthmann started working as a shipping assistant when he was 15 at Industrias Renaux SA, a textile company, in Santa Catarina, Brazil. The company is now known as ReneauxView. Orthmann turned 100 on April 19.
