1. Curriculum Vitae Format.
Worry less about making it flashy but more about making it easy to read. Nowadays job seekers have been distracted by the new trends of making their CVs colourful and dramatic as you may call it. Nothing wrong with that, just make sure your CV is easy to read and that it has covered all the right information the recruiter might be looking for.
2. Personal Statement.
Perfect your statement, make it clear and precise . State who you are, detailing where you are in your career (this should be in years or industries you worked in). Lastly in brief your career objectives.
My boss says nothing screams “reject me now” more than a report/request memo full of typos. If you need a second opinion, ask a colleague to read through your cover letter before submitting it.
4. Contact numbers.
Put reachable numbers and an alternative line of a close relative or friend in case your lines are not reachable.
