A majority of executives want to return to the office, according to a survey by Prialto, a Portland, Oregon-based firm that provides virtual administrative assistants. Its survey found that 79% of executives want to return to the office. Of those who wanted to return, a majority cited improving productivity as a reason.

“Burdened by increased admin work that came at the expense of sleep, many executives seem to view the office as the place where they can minimize distractions and collaborate with teams to do their best work,” Prialto CEO Eric Taussig said.

Prialto’s survey include 600 executives from across the US, UK, Australia and Canada. The respondents had a minimum $100,000 annual salary and were ranked at director level or above.

However, even though a majority of executives wish to return to work, 74% said they are more productive working from home now compared to 40% in 2019, according to Prialto’s survey.

The company noted 18% of executives surveyed adopted time-management methodologies such as Franklin Covey or Pomodoro.
