Staffing hours worked for the week ended July 31 were up 32% year over year and were up 1.2% from the previous week, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator, released today. The data indicate hours have bounced back from a soft patch in early July.

The SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator measures hours worked. It comprises two sets of analyses: a year-over-year comparison showing how the most recent week compared to the same week 12 months previously and an indexed value that has been benchmarked against data from the week ended Jan. 19, 2019.
In the week ended July 31, the index value was 102, up from the previous two weeks’ readings of 101 and 95.
