IntelyCare, which ranks among the fastest-growing US healthcare staffing providers, confirmed there was a reorganization that resulted in layoffs more than a month ago in a note to SIA. Media reports had recently emerged about layoffs at the Quincy, Massachusetts-based firm.
“As a policy, we do not provide details regarding our business decisions, but we can confirm that the affected employees all received separation packages that included severance, extended healthcare benefits and job placement assistance,” the company said in a statement to SIA.
IntelyCare added its network of nurses was not affected.
“The organizational changes we made are intended to strengthen our business through a new regional structure, adding solutions like full- and part-time hiring and preparing for entrance into new segments and market sectors,” the company said in its statement.
