Trillium acquired American Craftsmen, a Washington state-based construction staffing firm, in a deal that closed July 10. The move expands Trillium’s presence in the Pacific Northwest.
American Craftsmen was founded in 2015 by Jim Hyde and Kenneth Gerig and has offices in Beaverton, Oregon; Tacoma, Washington; and Bellevue, Washington. Plans call for Hyde to lead the former American Craftsmen locations as branch manager. Hyde will be joined in leading the branches by Area Manager Toby Copeland, whose former company was also acquired by Trillium.
American Craftsmen’s operations will take on the Trillium brand, but “formerly American Craftsmen” will appear on documents and invoices for a period of time.
Terms of the transaction were not announced.
The Trillium brand of companies is owned by René Poch and includes Trillium Construction Services, Trillium Staffing, Trillium Driver Solutions and Trillium Professional.
Trillium is based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and ranks on SIA’s list of largest US industrial staffing firms.
