1. LinkedIn to Tell Job Seekers How Likely They are to Get a Response

LinkedIn, Indeed, and Greenhouse are introducing new tools to hold companies accountable for their hiring practices. LinkedIn is testing “responsiveness insights” to show applicants which job listings are actively reviewed, while AI-powered job matching will help candidates focus on realistic opportunities. Greenhouse is rolling out badges for fair, communicative, and respectful hiring, and Indeed is expanding its responsive employer labels. These changes aim to improve transparency, reduce ghosting, and create a better experience for job seekers.

Johnny Campbell’s take on this:

I love this initiative from LinkedIn: transparency in the hiring process for candidates that holds hiring companies to account and hopefully forces improvements in responses and response time. I also love that Indeed has released a hiring manager app; expect LinkedIn to update theirs soon too!

2. Should AI Coach Managers?

AI is making executive coaching more accessible than ever. Traditionally reserved for senior leaders due to high costs, coaching is now being democratized through AI-driven tools like Valence’s AI Coach, Nadia. These platforms offer low-cost, high-quality coaching, providing managers with instant feedback and development support. AI coaches help with interpersonal challenges, planning, and self-improvement, potentially transforming management effectiveness. While elite human coaches will remain, AI is set to revolutionize learning, onboarding, and leadership growth.

Johnny Campbell’s take on this:

My answer is “hell yeah” but I think this article’s suggestion on how to measure ROI is outdated. Coaching in general shouldn’t be just measured by NPS and usage! In the era of AI, we should be tying this directly to business outcomes!

3. The Future of Recruiting 2025 Report

Source: LinkedIn

AI is reshaping recruiting, allowing talent teams to move beyond admin tasks and focus on strategy, candidate experience, and quality hiring. LinkedIn’s 2025 Future of Recruiting report shows 37% of companies are actively using AI, saving recruiters a full workday per week. But human skills remain critical—demand for relationship-building expertise has surged 54x. AI is also driving skills-based hiring, helping recruiters assess talent beyond degrees. Those who embrace AI and refine their advisory skills will be at the forefront of modern talent acquisition.

Johnny Campbell’s take on this:

Use of AI in recruiting is speeding up but I’m still surprised that adoption rates aren’t higher! Surely 2025 will be the year that this changes rapidly! The data here certainly demonstrates that leaders BELIEVE in the power of this tech but there remains a plethora of reasons why they are being cautious. Check out the report to find out more!
