HR Executive has opened the 2025 nomination process for its annual awards to recognize and celebrate HR’s Rising Stars in human resources and people functions across global industries.

Now in their 20th year, the awards honor HR professionals near the top of their organization’s HR functions who show a promising future as an HR leader. Specifically, candidates must either head a major HR discipline or be the second-highest-ranked HR executive at a business with at least 500 employees. They must have at least three and no more than 15 years of experience in HR or a related field and have been in their current role at their company for at least one year.

A few of many esteemed previous winners include Dayana Falcon of ESPN in the 2024 class of winners, Travis Windling of ManuLife in 2023 and Yolanda Seals-Coffield of PwC in 2022. Since winning, all three have since followed their rising stars to more senior positions: Falcon as senior manager for career infrastructure and engagement at The Walt Disney Co.; Windling as senior director, talent acquisition strategy, operations and contingent workforce, for Royal Bank of Canada; and Seals-Coffield as the chief people and inclusion officer at PwC.

Winners will be recognized at HR Icons Awards Evening
