Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced it was awarded $1.9 million in funding to continue providing IT staffing and support to multiple agencies within the city of Baltimore, including the Baltimore Police Department.

“We are pleased to continue our network services that are key to the city of Baltimore’s IT and network infrastructures, including, but not limited to, web-based and database development, implementation of network security and support of the city of Baltimore’s local and wide area networks,” Comtech Chairman and CEO Fred Kornberg said in a statement.

Trigyn Technologies Ltd.

Trigyn Technologies Ltd. announced in a regulatory filing that the New York Power Authority awarded it a three-year contract to provide IT staffing. The contract has the option for a two-year extension. The company noted it was one of 12 vendors selected by the NYPA.

The award covers 37 positions including software development, cyber security, IT support and data management roles.

The NYPA operates 16 electricity generating facilities and more than 1,400 circuit miles of transmission lines. Its main administrative office is in White Plains, New York.
