Description:
Companies across the U.S. are grappling with the ‘Great Resignation’: employees leaving their jobs in record numbers. In June, the number of job openings for the month rose to 10.1 million — the highest ever recorded. Another 3.9 million people quit their jobs, close to April’s record of 4 million people who quit.
Employees who are feeling burned out or unsupported in their health and wellbeing have shown that they aren’t afraid to look for new opportunities. Meanwhile, caregiving challenges continue to hold millions of women and people of color out of the workforce, which is contributing to even greater labor shortages.
Once an afterthought for employers, caregiving is becoming a permanent employment concern. If companies don’t address caregiving, employees will struggle to stay in their jobs, or may choose to leave for companies where they feel more supported.
In this session, a panel of experts in talent acquisition, people management, and employee benefits will share their thoughts on the so-called ‘Great Resignation.’ Join us to discuss:
- What it will take to attract and retain talent in today’s job market
- The critical link between caregiving and talent retention, and ways companies can more holistically support their employees’ caregiving needs
- How employers can strengthen employee loyalty through a caring company culture
