The line-up for the free CIPD Festival of Work has been revealed, with the exciting two-day event offering inspiring insights into the future of work and encouraging attendees to rethink how we work, lead and learn.

Organised by the CIPD, the professional body for HR and people development, Festival of Work 2025 brings together a wide range of exhibitors and over 130 speakers across seven stages. More than 11,500 professionals with an interest in the world of work are expected to attend the free event, which will showcase the latest developments and insights into AI, employee wellbeing, skills and more.

‘Artists’ include a mix of industry experts, global leaders and household names including Jamie Laing, broadcaster and entrepreneur; Alex Scott MBE, sports broadcaster and former professional footballer; Sarah Armstrong-Smith, chief security officer at Microsoft; Matthew Syed, writer, journalist and broadcaster known for his insights on performance and mindset; and Alex Horne, comedian and creator of the hit TV show Taskmaster.

As well as a packed timetable across the stages and the opportunity to visit over 180 exhibitors, attendees will be able to experience a range of exciting and interactive activities:

• AI Lab: featuring expert demonstrations to help to demystify how AI can be used across the people profession
• Employment Law Clinic: offering free drop-in legal expertise
• Wellbeing Village: offering a selection of mindful talks, breathing exercises, yoga sessions and a qualified masseuse
• Social Impact Hub: providing inspiration for attendees to consider what their organisation can do to have a positive impact on people, communities or the environment
• Networking opportunities: including 30-minute speed networking sessions hosted by HiBob
• The CIPD stand: learn how the CIPD supports people professionals and organisations, including exclusive offers on membership and development for teams.

Carefully designed Festival trails will help visitors navigate the wealth of activities that align with their interests, such as L&D, comms, or product demos. Each trail will include artist, feature and exhibitor recommendations to help visitors get the most from their time at the event.

The inaugural CIPD HR30 list, which celebrates senior people professionals who have had a measurable impact in their organisations, will also be announced. Those selected for the final 30 will be welcomed to an invite-only celebratory event at Festival of Work.

Visitors can register for a free two-day pass, giving them access to all festival stages, activities and the exhibition.

Guests who wish to attend virtually can purchase a Content+ pass for £125+ VAT, which gives on-demand access to recordings across all seven stages for 90 days after the event and exclusive post-event content.

Festival of Work is open from 08:15 to 17:30 on Wednesday 11 June, and from 08:30 to 16:30 on Thursday 12 June.
