Barbados wants remote workers, plans new rule to let them in for a year (CNN)

The Caribbean country of Barbados may soon be rolling out the welcome mat for remote workers, CNN reported. It plans to introduce a rule allowing foreign remote workers to come to Barbados for up to a year, encouraging those now working from home to do so from the Caribbean country. “You don’t need to work in Europe, or the US or Latin America if you can come here and work for a couple months at a time; go back and come back,” Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley said.
