IT services firm Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. (NASDAQ: CTSH) acquired Hunter Technical Resources, an IT staffing firm headquartered in Atlanta. Hunter specializes in providing skills in full-stack development, machine learning, DevOps, system architecture and data science.
“This acquisition expands Cognizant’s access to the highly-specialized expertise our clients require to accelerate their digital transformation journey,” said Rajesh Nambiar, president, digital business and technology, at Cognizant.
Hunter Technical Resources was founded 20 years ago by graduates of the Georgia Institute of Technology. It will continue to operate as an independent entity.
In addition to Atlanta, Hunter Technical Resources also has regional offices in Dallas and Denver.
