A contract worker at Nintendo said they were fired by their contracting firm after asking Nintendo management a question about unions, Axios reported. The interview comes after a labor complaint had been filed. Nintendo has denied that unions had anything to do with letting the tester go; instead, the company said the tester was removed because of disclosing confidential information.
