Levi, Ray & Shoup Inc., a global provider of IT solutions, acquired Fulcrum Consulting, LLC, a provider of IT staffing and consulting services based in Minneapolis.

Fulcrum Consulting was founded in 2002 and provides a nearshore development service to its clients in addition to IT staffing.

The deal makes Fulcrum Consulting the IT and engineering staffing division of LRS.

The move also expands LRS’ portfolio to the Twin Cities and will increase its workforce to more than 1,000 employees.

“Fulcrum’s location in the Minneapolis area fits with the expansion plan that LRS Consulting Services has been pursuing for several years,” LRS Senior VP Chris Walters said. “We are also acquiring an experienced IT staffing group that manages an established client base.”

Based in Springfield, Illinois, Levi, Ray & Shoup Inc. was founded in 1979 and currently has more than 900 employees.
