US temp staffing hours fell 2.6% in the week ended March 30, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report. Commercial staffing hours fell 2.5%, while professional staffing hours fell 2.8%. The hours were partly impacted by Good Friday-related business closures.

The year-over-year declines suggest that market conditions for staffing businesses have deteriorated during the first quarter.
