Google Maps contract employees who are required to return to their office in Washington state circulated a petition to keep working from home because of health concerns as well as costly commutes, The New York Times reported. The issue affects more than 200 workers employed by outsourcing firm Cognizant Technology Solutions and demands that managers suspend the return-to-office timeline and first address employees’ financial, health and childcare concerns.
