Google shuttered its Kormo Jobs site on June 30. The company said Kormo had supported a network for more than 4.5 million job seekers in India, Indonesia and Bangladesh.
“While Kormo Jobs had been deprecated, we’re working to better serve job seekers at greater scale across our broader products and services,” Google’s Kormo website said.
Kormo had launched in Bangladesh in 2018 before expanding to India and Indonesia.
It enabled users to build a digital CV for free and displayed open job listings.
