Groupe Crit SA, a Paris-based staffing firm with operations in the US, reported first-quarter revenue rose 11.3% year over year to €583.0 million (US$634.1 million), including the impact of OK Job, which it acquired in December 2022. Groupe Crit’s year-over-year revenue increase was 6.4% on an organic, constant currency basis.
Revenue from temporary staffing outside of France was up 17.8% to €134.4 million (US$146.2 million), including OK Job. However, revenue fell 5.5% on an organic, constant currency basis.
US revenue was down 3.2% to €63 million (US$68.5 million); the company said US revenue held up well in the context of a slowdown in the labor market. US revenue includes Peoplelink Staffing based in South Bend, Indiana.
French temporary staffing revenue rose 6.3% to €345.4 million (US$375.6 million).
Groupe Crit said revenue rose 24.1% in its nonstaffing multiservices division.

Shares in Groupe Crit closed up 1.36% today in Paris to €74.40 (US$81.93); they were 1.59% below their 52-week high, according to FT.com. The company had a market cap of €825.75 million (US$909.3 million).
