How IT staffing assignments differ from other categories

Remote work for contingents remains popular in IT staffing. New SIA research based on a survey of staffing buyers found that 60% of buyers using IT skill sets reported their contingents are working remotely. That compared to only 4% of contingents at buyers using industrial skill sets. IT staffing assignments also tend to be longer, with 36% of buyers reporting assignment lengths of 18 to 24 months.
