Talent mobility solution provider Topia will acquire Pearl Global Tech, an immigration risk engine and knowledge base provider. With Pearl Global Tech, Topia addresses two mobility risks for global employers: tax and immigration. Topia clients will be able to further support remote workers and distribute work policies without manual service providers.
People Moves
HR veteran Lissa Minkin joins payroll solution provider Wrapbook as chief people officer. Minkin most recently worked at Tile and has served in HR roles for eBay, Facebook and Time Warner. She will now oversee Wrapbook’s people experience, talent acquisition, people operations and total rewards program. “Lissa brings top-shelf expertise and leadership to her role, so we’re thrilled to welcome her to the team,” said Wrapbook CEO Ari Javid.
HR Tech Funding
Remote worker support provider Mosey raised $18 million in recent fundraising, bringing the start-up’s overall value to $21 million, according to media reports. Its solution helps employers manage their employees in multiple states while remaining compliant with state and federal laws. Alex Kehayias, Mosey’s CEO, says that the funding will be used to grow new partnerships, hire staff and further develop its platform.
