Hyundai plans to cut ties with suppliers that allegedly used underage labor; however, the United Auto Workers Union says the move will penalize workers who came forward to put an end to child labor, AL.com reported. Hyundai also pledged to investigate its supply chain to determine whether labor laws are being violated and stated it would stop relying on third-party labor suppliers in its US operations.
