Lexitas Legal, based in Houston, acquired Lumen Legal, a provider of secondments, document review, commercial contract outsourcing and contract staffing of attorneys. The acquisition was announced this week.
Lumen was advised by De Bellas & Co., which announced the deal. Lumen was founded in 1993 and is based in Troy, Michigan.
“Lumen is an excellent fit with Lexitas, the addition of this acquisition to our platform is an important continuation of our strategic expansion plans,” Lexitas CEO Gary Buckland said. “We can now seamlessly offer legal staffing, document review and commercial contracts outsourcing along with our other professional services to leading law firms and corporate legal departments nationwide.”
Lexitas provides litigation support to law firms and corporations.
