More companies are becoming interested in hiring those with criminal records given today’s difficulties in hiring, the Los Angeles Times reported. Harley Blakeman, chief executive at Honest Jobs, an Ohio-based company that matches people with criminal records with employers, told the newspaper that seven Fortune 500 companies have signed on as partners in the last seven months, including Owens Corning, Ball Corp. and Arrow Electronics.
