Pandemic drives demand for international nurses (ABC News)

The Covid-19 pandemic is causing some healthcare companies to turn to foreign nurses to meet demand, ABC News reported. “The pandemic has certainly highlighted and exposed the shortage, and in some ways it’s even intensified it,” Ron Hope, CEO of Worldwide Healthstaff Solutions, told ABC News. “The urgency of this has gotten greater because of the influx of patients. And the reality is that there’s not enough doctors and nurses in the US.”
