Tom Verratti has been promoted to president at Contemporary Staffing Solutions. Verratti, who joined the company in 2017, will continue to serve as CFO as well at the Mt. Laurel, New Jersey-based firm.
Education and training firm Stride Inc. (NYSE: LRN) announced CEO Nathaniel “Nate” Davis will retire from his role as CEO but remain as executive chairman. James Rhyu will take over the CEO role. Rhyu’s eight-year tenure at Stride has seen him serve as CFO; president of product and technology; and president of corporate strategy, marketing and technology.
Michelle D’Amato was named president of The McIntyre Group, a Connecticut-based staffing firm and member of the TalentLaunch Network. Prior to joining The McIntyre Group, D’Amato previously served as managing partner for PRI Technology in West Hartford, Connecticut.
Resources Connection Inc. (NASDAQ: RGP) announced that Susan Crawford will retire from the board effective Monday. Replacing her will be Lisa Pierozzi. Prior to Resources Connection, Pierozzi served as executive VP, finance and administration, and CFO of the Motion Picture Association of America. Pierozzi has also held executive positions with Universal Studios and was a partner at PwC.
DHI Group Inc. (NYSE: DHX) announced that Kate Swann, chief operating officer at Purpose, has joined its board. Purpose is a social impact digital agency recently acquired by Capgemini. Prior to Purpose, Swann was COO of Blue State Digital, a tech and creative agency best known for its work with the Obama administration. DHI also announced that Carol Carpenter, chief marketing officer at VMWare, will step down from the board. DHI is the parent company of Dice, ClearanceJobs and eFinancialCareers.
Katie Escalante has been named VP of sales at All Star Healthcare Solutions, a healthcare staffing firm specializing in locum tenens and permanent positions. Escalante had joined All Star in 2015 as a consultant with more than a decade of experience in healthcare staffing.
Online platform NetOne Recruiter appointed Ashish Kaushal to its advisory board. Kaushal is founder of Consciously Unbiased, a firm focused on promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and CEO of staffing firm HireTalent.
Troy Woolery is leading Vaco’s new digital practice division in Cincinnati. Woolery is a 15-year veteran of corporate and digital leadership. Vaco, founded in 2002, provides consulting, consultative project resources, executive search, permanent placement and staffing.
