He joins the executive leadership team as a VP and will report to CTG President and CEO Filip Gydé. Kalra has more than two decades of human resources and talent acquisition experience. Most recently, he was head of HR, Americas at Orion Innovation, a digital transformation and product development services firm; before Orion, he was an HR leader at technology companies including Capgemini and LTI (now LTIMindtree).
RPO provider Cielo added Myke Hawkins as its new chief revenue officer, responsible for the global go-to-market strategy and execution, including leading product development, sales, marketing and revenue operations. Most recently, Hawkins was chief sales officer at Kelly Services, leading a $3.6 billion global customer portfolio. He also brings experience from senior roles with Xerox and Aon.
Velocity Global, a global provider of employer-of-record and independent contractor compliance services, announced Siddharth Ram as its new chief technology officer. He will work in close collaboration with Chief Product Officer Liz Li and her team to develop and execute against the company’s technology roadmap. Ram most recently was chief technology officer and senior VP of engineering at Inflection (acquired by Checkr earlier this year) / GoodHire. He is also on the board of advisors for companies including Logikcull and Sedai and previously held technology leadership roles at Intuit and Qualcomm.
Florida-based ShiftPixy Inc. (NASDAQ: PIXY) appointed John Bissell as chief operating officer of ShiftPixy Labs, its operation that works with restaurants and aims to create metaverse experiences such as NFT avatars and augmented reality menus. Bissell has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry working for several chains, most recently as COO of a large, franchised restaurant group in New Mexico and Arizona.
Gale Healthcare Solutions, a healthcare staffing platform based in Tampa, Florida, named Tulsi Dharmarajan as chief product officer. Most recently, Dharmarajan served as head of product at Wheel, a white-labeled virtual healthcare platform; prior to Wheel, she was senior VP of product and engineering at Verb, an enterprise HR technology platform that focuses on performance management.
Salo, a Minneapolis-based staffing provider, added Jen Allen as a human resource business development director in Denver. Allen most recently was a principal at Slalom but also held a role as a talent manager leading the business through various projects such as performance management, calibration and promotions.
Employer-of-record provider G-P (formerly Globalization Partners) announced Vernon Irvin joined the company as chief revenue officer with oversight of the entire global revenue organization comprising sales, partners, business development, revenue operations, sales enablement and training teams. Most recently, he was the CRO and co-CEO at Everbridge, a SaaS communication business; he also ran a 2,000-plus person team at CenturyLink.
Elite365 – Healthcare Workforce Solutions appointed Russel Hicks as president of its new locum tenens division. He will also join the company’s board. Hicks has 27 years of healthcare staffing experience and joins Elite365 from Provide LT, where he served as president and CEO and helped establish the company’s core locum tenens service offering. Elite365 – Healthcare Workforce Solutions, a Tampa, Florida-based travel nurse firm, rebranded from Oak Healthcare Staffing in August; it is now expanding its focus beyond travel nursing.
Aim Consulting, a technology consulting firm headquartered in Seattle, promoted Mike Mallahan to president, effective Dec. 5. Mallahan, a 24-year veteran in consulting, has been with Aim for five years, starting as managing director of consulting prior to his role as VP of consulting. With its new leadership structure, Aim plans to expand into new markets in alignment with parent company Addison Group and its partner brands.
