Veterinarian staffing company IndeVets expanded its executive leadership team to include three new roles. Nico Westerdale has joined Philadelphia-based IndeVets full time after having served for the company as a fractional CTO, building the software engineering team for two years and leading the development of proprietary technology; he previously led the consumer product engineering teams at Gopuff and drove technology for several startups. Alex Ruiz, senior VP of finance, was previously CFO and treasurer for Talivity and a former CFO for Onward Search. Dave Johnson, senior VP of growth, previously was senior VP of national sales at Randstad USA; he also held leadership positions at Tiva HealthCare Inc., Medical Doctor Associates and Maxim Healthcare Services.
Korn Ferry announced Jenna McLaughlin joined the executive search firm as sector leader, collegiate sports search, marking the formal rollout of its strategy to further engage collegiate institutions as part of the company’s expanding global sports practice. McLaughlin most recently was an executive search consultant at a boutique firm focused on intercollegiate sports and previously held executive administrative leadership roles in athletics on several campuses. McLaughlin began her career as a Division I basketball coach after her collegiate playing career.
New York-based staffing firm Solomon Page appointed Hillary Black as senior VP of its creative and marketing division. She previously was a VP, executive search, and global lead for executive coaching at creative firm WPP; prior to WPP, she co-founded boutique creative recruitment firm Kay & Black, Talent Management.
Code Staffing Corp., the IT contingent staffing division of the CODE Group, promoted Yair Alan Griver to CEO from COO. Before joining Code Staffing in 2022, Griver was an executive at Microsoft, founded a business and technical consulting company, and served as VP of development for a startup that created a suite of software for the casino industry.
Executive search firm Calibre One announced Harry Greenspun, M.D., joined the team as partner. He will lead Calibre One’s new health and well-being practice group while expanding the company’s presence in the DC area. An experienced chief medical officer, Greenspun held executive roles at Deloitte, Dell, Northrop Grumman, Korn Ferry and Guidehouse. As a cardiac anesthesiologist, he practiced in major academic medical centers as well as community hospitals.
Focus Search Partners, a Vaco company, added Seth Blumenthal as managing director to lead executive- and board-level engagements for its enterprise technology practice. He will exclusively serve enterprise technology and deep tech businesses. Blumenthal previously was a partner at an executive search firm and global talent management platform; he also was general counsel and VP of business development for an education-focused for-profit entity.
