Executive search firm ZRG appointed Nzinga “Zing” Shaw as president of TurnkeyZRG, a sports and entertainment executive search firm acquired last year by ZRG. In addition, Shaw will serve as managing director, chief inclusion and diversity officer internally for the whole company and will serve as global practice head of the ZRG’s diversity, equity and inclusion client-facing practice. Shaw comes with much experience. ZRG reported she held the title of chief diversity officer at the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks. President Jimmy Carter had appointed Shaw to serve a six-year term on the board of councilors of The Carter Center. She also sits on the boards of Fisk University, ColorComm and Arctos Sports Partners. In addition, the company announced Tom Truitt has joined TurnkeyZRG as managing director, global practice head of music industry recruiting. Truitt is based in Nashville. Curtis Walker has joined TurnkeyZRG as VP, head of sponsorship recruiting. Walker previously sold and activated marketing partnerships at the United Soccer League and Minor League Baseball. TurnkeyZRG also promoted Managing Director Diana Busino to chief operating officer/chief of staff, and Director of Diversity Kelly Lewis to VP.
Employer-of-record services provider Elements Global Services, named Will Carter as chief revenue officer, Chelsey Griggs as chief strategy officer and Adil Shabbir as chief technology officer. The Chicago-based company reported that Carter has 15 years of experience and joins from the technology company Litera. Griggs has more than 20 years of experience and joins from HR software provider Ceridian, where she was the VP of mergers and acquisitions. Shabbir joins from Payactiv, where he was chief product officer and head of engineering.
Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggle International Inc. (NASDAQ; HSII) announced Meg Bear has joined its board as an independent director. Bear is the chief product officer at SAP SuccessFactors.
VMS provider Beeline named Rodrigo Alcaine as senior VP and head of North America sales and operations for JoinedUp, the company’s high-volume workforce division. Alcaine has 13 years of experience in the staffing industry, and most recently served as head of technology and science at Adecco US. Alcaine also appeared on SIA’s 2021 40 Under 40 list.
Executive search firm Daversa Partners promoted Nicole Daversa as VP of marketing and communications. Daversa joined the firm three years ago as head of marketing. Her previous roles include chief communications officer at Live Nation.
Chicago-based staffing provider Brilliant named Patrick “Pat” Hevrdejs to practice director for Brilliant Management Resources Illinois. Hevrdejs has 25 years of experience.
Tim Young joined Pride Industries as senior director of talent acquisition. Young previously led a team of more than 20 talent acquisition professionals for Ross Stores Inc. Another previous role was director of talent acquisition for Autozone. Pride Industries is a social enterprise that provides facilities operations, packaging and fulfillment and staffing and recruitment services.
Medely Inc., a talent platform for healthcare professionals, named Jon Foley as senior VP of small and midsize business sales and account management. Foley has more than 14 years of sales leadership experience and previously was VP of global inside sales at Opentable.
Staffy, a Toronto-based talent platform providing hospitality, general labor and healthcare staffing, named Andrea Diamond as head of operations, according to a LinkedIn post. Diamond’s top strategic priority will be expansion in the US.
