S.i. Systems ULC announced Wednesday that it acquired Annex Consulting Group, an IT staffing provider based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Calgary, Alberta-based S.i. Systems, also an IT staffing provider, ranks among the largest staffing firms in Canada.
CEO Derek Bullen said he has known Annex Consulting CEO Stacey Cerniuk for 20 years and has been impressed by his leadership and similar values.
“This acquisition is a very good fit for both parties in so many ways,” Bullen said. “We warmly welcome all Annex staff and consultants into S.i. Systems.”
Annex Consulting was founded in 1998 and is one of the original IT staffing organizations in Vancouver.
“I found an ideal partner in S.i. Systems,” Cerniuk said. “Their culture, processes, values and high-caliber talent are very similar to Annex. We already run on the same principles, so the integration of the two firms will be swift and easy, and the combined organization will be a force in Western Canada.”
Terms of the transaction were not announced.
