“We’re excited to offer Flexwise to help healthcare systems reduce labor costs by using the power of predictive analytics in their staffing processes,” Aya President and CEO Alan Braynin said. “We will continue to make significant investments into advanced technologies to drive greater efficiencies and superior operating results for our clients.”
Flexwise will be added to Aya’s suite of software solutions, which includes vendor management and float pool technology.
The American Hospital Association was an early investor in Flexwise along with several member organizations.
Seneca Resources
Seneca Resources acquired QED National, an IT staffing firm based in New York City. The deal closed May 26. It marks the first add-on acquisition completed by Seneca since private equity firm Caymus Equity acquired a majority stake in September 2022.
Seneca, based in Reston, Virginia, provides IT and engineering staffing.
The deal will strengthen Seneca’s platform by increasing its mix of IT consulting and cybersecurity solutions.
“Partnering with QED represents meaningful progress toward achieving our strategic objectives for Seneca in the first nine months of our investment,” said Blake Cummings, principal and investment lead at Caymus Equity. “We recognize the value of IT consulting expertise in today’s marketplace and are excited to leverage QED’s leading capabilities in this area as we continue to build the premier IT staffing and consulting business in the industry.”
Plans call for management to remain in place. In addition, Dustin Molter, the leader of QED’s operations, will join Seneca’s leadership team as managing director for the New York office. Molter was the seller of QED.
Terms of the transaction were not announced.

We’re very happy to have them on board.”

Veritone reported the deal will strengthen its AI-driven human resources solutions suite, building on the company’s previous acquisition of PandoLogic.
“The lifeblood of AI is data,” Veritone President and CEO Ryan Steelberg said. “The combination of Broadbean’s data set of over 5 billion job advertising performance data points from its installed base of over 3,000 customers and 100 ATS partners and Veritone’s AI-enabled recruitment technology solutions positions Veritone to further enhance recruitment insights for customers and scale AI-driven enhancements across its business.”
