Longtime staffing industry veteran Seiki “Stan” Hirota died unexpectedly on Aug. 26. Hirota was chairman of the board/president of UHS Partners Inc., a subsidiary of Mitsui & Co. Ltd. that invests in healthcare staffing, healthcare education and HR tech firms. He was instrumental in bringing global staffing firm Recruit Holdings Ltd. to the US.
He was well-known in the staffing industry and appeared on the Staffing 100 list in 2019.
In addition to his role at Mitsui & Co., Hirota served as chairman of the board at Accountable Healthcare Staffing, chairman of the board/executive chairman at The Delta Companies and as a board member at The CSI Companies.
