Do you work with a promising HR professional who has a demonstrated record of excellence? Or, perhaps, that person is you? If so, you’re invited to submit a nomination for HR’s Rising Stars.
Human Resource Executive® is seeking candidates for its annual competition. Nominations are due March 27, 2023. Click here to nominate yourself or a colleague.
Now in its 18th year, the awards recognize up to six HR professionals across a range of industries who are near the top of their organization’s HR functions and show a promising future as an HR leader. In particular, candidates must either head a major HR discipline or be the second-highest-ranked HR executive at the organization. They should have between four and 10 years of experience in HR or a related field and have been employed at their current organization for at least one year.
Candidates who nominate themselves must also include a letter of recommendation from a supervisor. Nominators can also be the organization’s senior-most HR executive, another senior leader within the company or a representative of a supplier organization (for the latter, the nominator must also submit a signed letter of recommendation from the employer). Nominators will be asked to detail three of the candidate’s accomplishments that had a lasting impact on the company’s HR function.
A panel of judges assembled by HRE will evaluate all nominees, weighing how well they have demonstrated personal initiative, leadership, courage and a results-oriented drive.
Last year’s winners included up-and-coming HR talent at Nestlé, MGM Resorts, PwC and more. Click here to read their stories of success.
