Talent platform Fiverr International Ltd. (NYSE: FVRR) announces new AI apps as searches for AI-related services rise. Dalia closed on a $5 million funding round, and Airbus is hiring 13,000 new employees to support long-term projects.

Fiverr announced the introduction of new artificial intelligence categories and skills to meet demand from artists and programmers who have embraced new AI tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT and Dall-E as well as businesses that are looking at how to leverage the new technology.
“We are living in an era with so much progress and velocity in technology that is creating a raft of new opportunities,” said Fiverr founder and CEO Micha Kaufman. “We have seen an influx of services leveraging new AI tools that advance what artists, writers and programmers can create and sell.”
According to the company, searches for AI-related services on the platform have increased by over 1,400% in the last six months, while business leaders are not only eager to integrate AI into their operations, sales and marketing campaigns but are also searching for people who are skilled in using these new tools.
Dalia
Dalia, a recruitment marketing automation platform, today announced the completion of a $5 million series A funding round. The round was led by Lewis & Clark Ventures with participation from the family office of Paul Forster, the co-founder and former CEO of Indeed; SaaS Ventures; FJ Labs; Remarkable Ventures and others.
The capital will be used to expand its product suite, which aims to maximize career site conversion rates to make recruitment marketing budgets more efficient, and invest further in sales and marketing.
Dalia enables employers to capture job seekers who visit their career sites but don’t apply and bring them back through email and text job alerts to maximize apply rates. Dalia is fully automated and works with existing ATS and CRM platforms.
“Dalia creates an experience that’s similar to what you might encounter if you were shopping online or engaging with an e-commerce business,” said Jason Whitman, COO of Dalia. “We’re helping companies improve the way job seekers connect, learn about, and apply for their jobs. As a result, they’re getting more qualified applicants with less spend on traditional job advertising.”
The recruitment marketing automation solution is used by midmarket and enterprise companies including Compass Group, Ryder, Valvoline, Brink’s, Baptist Health South Florida and PeopleReady.
Airbus
Aerospace industry giant Airbus announced it is hiring 13,000 more employees with skills to support the company’s long-term projects. Approximately one-quarter of the planned recruitment is focused on decarbonization, digital transformation, software engineering and cyber technology jobs.
The key profiles sought by Airbus for its hiring drive include digital and cyber (cyber security, robotics, software engineering, cloud computing), engineering and manufacturing engineering (new energies, hydrogen, aircraft design) and customer services (customer engineering, technical, and material support/services, maintenance technicians).
The company added over 13,000 new staff members in 2022.
“Following the success of our recruitment last year, we will hire over 13,000 new employees again in 2023,” said Thiery Baril, chief human resources and workplace officer at Airbus. “We call on talented individuals from all over the world to join us in our journey to make sustainable aerospace a reality and to help us build a better, more diverse, and inclusive workplace for all our employees.”
The new hires will contribute to Airbus’ role in sustainable aerospace while also contributing to its continued business ramp-up and advancing key transformation projects.
