The Boston Group Private Ltd., an IT staffing firm with its US headquarters in Northboro, Massachusetts, announced today that it acquired People Prime Worldwide, a staffing firm based in Hyderabad, India. People Prime Worldwide provides IT staffing as well as non-IT staffing in the banking sector. The deal closed on May 2.
“The timing has never been better for a unified team to address the staffing challenges head-on for our customers,” said Subu Kota, chairman of The Boston Group. The deal expands The Boston Group’s IT staffing service platform to multiple customers globally.
People Prime Worldwide was founded in 2012 and makes more than 3,000 placements annually.
“We are currently focused on global customers serving only domestic (India) opportunities,” said Ravi Kumar Aleti, the CEO of People Prime Worldwide. “With this merger we will be able to leverage the presence of The Boston Group across India, Singapore, Malaysia and USA and expand our services to our customers in those regions and we are looking forward to joining The Boston Group team.”
Terms of the transaction were not announced.
