A new study indicates that how Facebook shows job ads differently to men and women might run afoul of the law, The Associated Press reported. Researchers at the University of Southern California examined the ad-delivery algorithms of Facebook and LinkedIn and found that Facebook’s ads were skewed by gender beyond what may be acceptable. For example, men were more likely to see Domino’s pizza-delivery driver job ads while women were more likely to see Instacart shopper ads.
