Temporary staffing hours worked in the US fell 7% year over year in the week ended June 24, according to the latest SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator report, released today.
The year-over-year decline in the indicator is directionally consistent with the decline in temporary help employment as reported in the US Bureau of Labor Statistics’ monthly Employment Situation reports regarding December 2022 to May 2023, according to the indicator.
