Varied solutions emerging to track employee vaccination status: SIA report

A number of suppliers to staffing firms have begun releasing vaccination management solutions to staffing firms, according to a report by Staffing Industry Analysts. The solutions are coming in the wake of the Biden administration’s emergency temporary standard — which requires companies with more than 100 employees to either make sure their employees are vaccinated or undergo weekly testing — despite the standard currently being tied up in the courts.

It’s not just the Biden administration emergency temporary standard driving the offerings. Many buyer organizations have proactively implemented their own vaccination policies regardless of any governmental requirements, which is placing a significant administrative burden on staffing firms.

Staffing Industry Analysts released a report on Wednesday, “Vaccine Management Solutions,” listing providers as well describing their offerings.

“Different types of digital health cards and vaccine management solutions are now available, which can be used to create vaccine passports, organize tests and collect results, screen for Covid-19 symptoms, provide employee illness reporting, help identify and manage exposure risk and offer outreach for employee wellbeing,” according to the report.
