A global effort to help get workers safely back to workplaces post-pandemic by an alliance among The Adecco Group, ManpowerGroup Inc. (NYSE: MAN) and Randstad nv will now be led by the World Employment Confederation.
“As the alliance has quickly broadened to involve a larger network of partners across the world, the World Employment Confederation is taking over the project,” the organization announced today. “WEC will lead and coordinate the next steps in implementing the work started within the alliance.”
Adecco, ManpowerGroup and Randstad began the alliance back in April. So far it has developed a compendium of best practice health and safety protocols that include more than 100 measures and a practical guide for a safe restart.
The World Employment Confederation is a global organization representing national staffing organizations — such as the American Staffing Association — as well as large staffing firms.
WEC noted some national organizations are already working with government agencies and others to put in place the best practices released so far.
The hand-over of the alliance to the WEC will be finalized in July.
